The importance of accessing other people's knowledge
Jesse caught his first big break in the editorial industry at the age of seven as a staff illustrator for the venerable Koo Koo News, a publication based out of the second floor of his home town public library. Fueled by juice and cookies, he plastered the pages of the News with his cartoons, portraits, and rubber stamp art. Jesse went on to earn a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and has worked with a variety of publications from Rolling Stone to Runner’s World to The New York Times. Frankly, though, he sometimes misses the juice and cookies.
