Caitlin Kuhwald gravitated to graphics at an early age and admits to joining Brownies solely for the craft supplies.

Having collected a BFA from California College of the Arts and an MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, she returned to San Francisco to teach illustration at CCA.
