Matthew Hollister was born and raised in rural northeastern Pennsylvania. After high school, he moved a few hours and many worlds away to the streets of Brooklyn, NY, where he earned his BFA in illustration from Pratt Institute. For the past several years Matthew has continued to hone his illustration work mixing hand cut collage, with ink, gouache, some nifty computer tricks, and a lot of tracing paper. He enjoys creating images that communicate with the viewer and capture the eye.
