Recently I was lucky enough to do a job for Billboard.  Love that large format. The piece was about the work that Public Radio has been doing to promote indie bands.  I’m sure you all noticed NPR’s live coverage of Decemberists and Neko Case concerts, right? Right? Whether it’s Orch Pop or Sub Pop, everyone knows that the world of music and music promotions is changing. Drawing on pastoral scenery to get that grassroots feel, I took a giant hipster and made him strum a radio tower for my central metaphor.  I think the barn and the biplane are a nice touch.
