I just finished an illustration for Psychology Today,

  and it’s all about Michelle! This was so much fun, and so well suited for me. I love fashion, and I love Michelle Obama and her incredible strength and courageous style.
I would have done a whole book of her outfits if they had asked me… hint!

Initially there were going to be a lot more of Michelle’s outfits in the illustration. But it was simplified to focus in a little more on the First Lady herself. Which I think ended up being much stronger.

I also attached another paper doll illustration I did for The Seattle Weekly last year, Art Direction by Jane Sherman. I’m glad I’ve been asked to do this a few times, It’s simple and fun and I can focus in on the things I like best.
