The article is about why the financial crisis makes it so hard to calculate the value of a company.

I like assignments like these because they don’t let me take words and ideas for granted. When an article is very specific and technical it becomes pretty tempting to use the “business man in suit jumping over a dollar sign with feet” image that first comes to mind (not that I’m knocking it, I’ve seen it done well before). There’s always brainstorming involved, but in some cases the illustration idea is less obvious and takes me a little more time to dig out. And hopefully at the end of the day the anthropomorphic dollar signs are avoided.
