Lisel Ashlock grew up in a hunting cabin in Northern California complete with a chicken coop, tractor and a small mountain.

Being the daughter of a photographer, she strives to create images with a degree of reality, but can't seem to resist focusing on the natural oddities that exist at second glance in everyday life.
